چکیده
The residue of thermal power plants is known as coal fly ash and has been considered solid waste pollution worldwide. characteristic ashes showed that it contains several components could be utilized in fields. One the potential utilization agricultural application. This study analyzed two different types their effect on soil. x-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis resulted SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO dan MgO are five major soil, both ash, CFA A B. XRF result concluded have great to a substitute for silica fertilizer. Then, addition also was studied by moisture content nutrient (N, P, K) characteristics soil soil-ash mixture. findings indicated 125 grams had greater impact compared B when 250 used.

On the Radioactivity of Fly Ashes from Coal Power Plants
The radioactivity of Greek lignites and their ashes was studied. It was found that the radionuclides in them belong to the uranium series. Fly ashes are relatively rich in radioactivity. Concentrations up to 7 , 1 0 _ 5 g / g and 12 pCi/g were measured for 238U and 226Ra, respectively. The associated hazards from radioactivity escaping from stacks of thermopower plants or when fly ashes are use...
متن کاملSynthesis of merlinoite from Chinese coal fly ashes and its potential utilization as slow release K-fertilizer.
This study focuses on the synthesis of merlinoite from Chinese coal fly ashes by KOH direct conversion method, with special emphasis on the application of synthetic merlinoite as fertilizer. These fly ashes were collected from two pulverized-coal combustion (PCC) power plants in Xinjiang, Northwest China. The synthesis results are influenced by fly ash characteristics and different synthesis co...
متن کاملQuantitative Rietveld Analysis of the Crystalline and Amorphous Phases in Coal Fly Ashes
X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) in combination with the Rietveld method was used to evaluate the proportion of crystalline and amorphous (glassy) phases in fly ashes produced in pulverized-coalcombustion (PCC) power plants. The quantification of amorphous phases through the Rietveld method is most usually carried out i) by using an internal standard or ii) by using a poorly-crystalline phase to ...
متن کاملEcotoxicological assessment of ashes and particulate matter from fluidized bed combustion of coal.
Toxicity of ash and particulate matter from the gases generated in coal fluidized bed combustion (FBC) has been determined by the Microtox assay according to the standard leachate procedure. Results are compared with the polycylic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content of the particulate matter, which was determined by fluorescence spectroscopy. Although PAHs are considered highly toxic compounds, ...
